British accumulator insulators ("battery rests") are quite different than the U.S. type. They typically come in two parts: a base unit and an associated top. The smaller size bases have a round bump on their upper center matching a depression in the tops' lower center, to locate and retain the top. The largest size has a lead screen cushion between the two parts (presumably gravity is enough to keep things in position). Four two-parts styles are known; all are light green or light aqua. The one known unipart is a small clear unit in the U.S. style but with a solid center platform instead of hollow; it has a corrugated base.
