These pylons are part of a fuel cell demonstration project, the 2MW Fuel Cell Power Plant in Santa Clara, installed 1995 by the Energy Research Corporation. It uses Sediver hemisphere suspensions, on relatively low pylons that couldn't be more accessible. Mmmm, photo op! These ones are inside the plant walls: |

Across the street is the most accessible glass pylon on the peninsula-- you can park right next to it! Those similar poles in the distance also carry glass. |
