This letter to The Rodefer Glass Company
(Bellaire, Ohio), dated March 27, 1939 reads:
Gentlemen: We have your letter of March 24th. We will be interested
in knowing whether the St. Louis concern accepts your quotation, which
is the present price list -- terms sight draft attached to bill of lading.
If you ship them anything on the basis of the above terms, we will be
glad to know it because it will mean we will have to get busy and effect
collection. Their acceptance of your rigid quotation would prompt us to
believe something about National Lightning Protection Company that we hope
will not have to believe.
Your very truly, THE CANTON GLASS COMPANY, signed F. L. Paul
