To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, JACOB JACOBS, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings, and in the State of New York, have invented a certain new and original Design for Glasses or Tiles; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which— Figure 1 is a perspective view of a glass or tile embodying my design, and Fig. 2 a plan view thereof. Letters of like name and kind refer to like parts in each of the figures. The object of my invention is to produce a new and original shape for glasses or tiles; and to this end said invention consists in the design for the glass or tile substantially as herein set forth. The glass or tile A has an outline that in |
general shape is rectangular, and at each of the four corners is a
flat-sided pointed projection B. On opposite sides of each projection
B and forming obtuse angles therewith are straight or plane surfaces C
and C, and between said surfaces, at the same side of the glass or tile,
the sides of the latter are dished or concave. Having thus described my invention, what I claim is— The design for a glass or tile, substantially as shown and described. In testimony that I claim the foregoing I have hereunto set my hand this 30th day of September, 1897.
