SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,992, dated December 7, 1897.
Application filed October 7, 1897. Serial No. 654,467. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK L. WRIGHT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and original Design for Prism-Plates, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a designs for prism-plates.
    Figure 1 is a plan view of a prism-plate. Fig. 2 is a cross-section therethrough.
    A A are surface areas.
B B are lines of separation across the face of the prism-plate.
On one side of the prism-plate is a series of prisms B'. On the other side is a series of ornamental figures C C D D, many of which figures are carried over the lines of separation B B.
The essential features of my design are found in a substantially flat body having prisms on one side, lines of separation on the other, which divide the prism-plate into separate areas or surfaces, and ornamental figures which are carried from one separate area to the other across the lines of separation, thus producing the appearance of a complete design only when the lines on adjacent areas are considered together.
    I claim--
A design for a prism-plate, substantially as shown and described.
FRANK L. WRIGHT.
