Luxfer Reinforced Concrete Prism Sidewalk.
Consists of Luxfer prisms or blank lights (various styles of which are shown below) embedded in concrete 1 7/8 inches thick, reinforced by longitudinal and transverse ¼-inch square twisted steel tension rods placed between each glass unit and 3¾ inches apart, thus forming a mesh of great rigidity, capable of supporting any weight. Support is obtained on beam at building, retaining wall or beam at outer edge and upon concrete beams spanning the opening between, as dimensions may require.

Joints properly caulked and made water-tight are placed at proper intervals to provide for expansion and contraction of the mass. The top surface makes an excellent wearing pavement. The under surface may be plastered flush with the bottom of the lenses.

Luxfer sidewalks can be constructed also of "Ready-to-set" slabs (Fig. 13).	No. 65 Round Blank Lens 2¾" Diam.	No. 60 Sidewalk Prism 2½" × 2½"

Specification.
Glaze main body of walk with Luxfer No. 76 or 60 prism. Three of four rows next the building to be glazed with Luxfer No. 76 or 68 lens.
The Nos. 76 and 78 are non-shalable, being provided with expansion cushion and guaranteed against breakage.

    Made up at the factory in usual manner, from blue-prints, or sketches showing size openings they are to fit. Sent with full directions for setting.

Luxfer "Crystolux" Sidewalk.
    To overcome the slippery surface often presented by the ordinary sidewalk light construction in wet and freezing weather, we have introduced our "Crystolux" (Non-Slip) surface. This consists of a layer of mineral crystals in the top dressing of the concrete. These minerals have great abrasive and lasting qualities and will not lose any of their properties through wear.
    The cost is little more than that of the smooth surface sidewalks.
