Nikita Andreev sent these pictures of restoration work at 0°C at the Eroshenko House, Saint Petersburg, Baskov pereulok 5 using new bricks made by NWGlass-lab.
Nikita: Temperature was about 10C celsius inside and 0C-2C outside,
process takes 10 days, we made it in some kind of green house with
plastic oilcloth and use heat convectors. But of couse it was pretty
cold at each side. And of course we tried different various cement before
works and chose fastest one.
We made falconnier molds in 3d on computer and when order some metal
details on metal factory and faces we made in 3d-router.
Some signatures we put on long-side of flank-modules ¾ ½
and ¼. And on [full size] of Nº7; also on stamps [seals].
NWG makes bricks for restoration works and for 'falconnier
exhibition' in Moscow museum of architecture, and of course for commercial
usage.
Pictured are Tamara Kovaleva (director of production), Polina Bokova (constructor of metal-form and 3D-body of blocks) and Alexandra Sumkina (architect-restorer).
