More Light in the Basement
of Messrs. D. H. Evans & Co.'s Premises in Oxford Street, London

British Luxfer Prism Syndicate, Ltd. ad - "More Light in the Basement"

A short while back the Basement of Messrs. D. H. Evans & Co.'s premises, Oxford St., London, required for lighting five Arc lamps and a number of Incandescent lights, to be burning all day and every day, even though they had ordinary Pavement lights.

Upon these latter being replaced by Luxfer Multiprism Pavement Lights and Lucidux, the Basements became flooded with daylight, and all artificial light was dispensed with during the daytime.

In two years the Luxfer Installation will have paid for itself in the saving effected in artificial light.
The Luxfer effects an economy over all other systems of natural lights
