C, daylight-reflector; a a, metal knobs; b b,
cement around glasses; c, concrete. Like letters refer to like parts in all the figures. The drawings represent daylight-reflectors of ordinary kind, as made of large and single plates; but I propose to use register-reflectors and reflecting-surfaces of any kind, not limiting my invention to the kind or style of reflectors or reflecting substances, and the combination may be made by joining the reflector directly to the grating or tile, or by near attachment to the walls of the building where employed. What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- 1. An illuminating area-covering or sidewalk-light formed of knob-tiles, in combination with a daylight-reflector or reflecting-surface, substantially as and for the purposes herein set forth and illustrated. |
2. An area-covering or sidewalk-light
formed of concrete tiles, in combination with a daylight-reflector or
reflecting-surface, substantially as and for the purposes herein set
forth and illustrated. 3. An area-covering or sidewalk-light formed of knob-tiles made with enlarged buttons or knobs, and combined with daylight-reflectors or reflecting-surfaces, substantially as and for the purposes herein set forth and illustrated. 4. A ground-floor or principal story rear extension-roof made of concrete lights, in combination with daylight-reflector or reflecting-surfaces, substantially as and for the purposes herein set forth and illustrated. In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
