SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,323, dated July 13, 1897.
Application filed June 15, 1897. Serial No. 640,919. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, OLIN H. BASQUIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a certain new and useful Design for Prism-Lights, of which the following is a description.
My design consists of a prism-light having a certain outline with an inscribed smaller circular prism-surface. It is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein--
Figure 1 is a plan view of a hexagonal prism-light. Fig. 2 is an section therethrough.
Like parts are indicated by the same letter in both figures.
A is the body of the prism-light, B B the prisms, and C one of the corner pieces, non-prismatic.
I have shown the prism-plate as hexagonal and a certain arrangement of angles and proportions in the prisms and plate; but the essential features of my design are found in a prism-light having an inscribed circular prism-surface smaller than and of different shape from the outline of the prism-light.
    I claim--
The design for a prism-light, substantially as shown and described.
OLIN H. BASQUIN.
