To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, JAMES G. PENNYCUICK, citizen of the Dominion of Canada, residing at Toronto, in the county of York and Province of Ontario, Canada, have invented and produced a certain new and useful Design for Prism-Plates, of which the following is a description. My invention is related to a design for prism-plates. It is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein-- Figure 1 is an elevation of a prism-plate, looking towards the prism side. Fig. 2 is a section therethrough. Like parts are indicated by the same letter in all the figures. A is a surrounding frame; B B and C C, the parts which form the inner net, grid or frame. |
The prism-lights D D are composed each of
a body with prisms E E thereon. There prism-lights are substantially square
or rectangular, and the prisms are arranged thereon substantially as
indicated, being practically horizontal to the transverse or horizontal axes
of the prism-light. I have shown a certain size and arrangement of the several parts and of the prisms of on the light; but the essential feature of my invention is a single complete plate composed of prism-lights with diagonally-arranged inner frame-pieces, the prisms placed horizontally. I claim-- The design for a prism-plate substantially as shown and described.
