To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, JOHN M. EWEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Ornamental Design for Prism-Plates, of which the following is a specification. My invention relates to a new design for prism-plates. It is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, wherein is shown a prism-plate consisting of a series of diamond-shaped prism-lights A A and sections of diamond-shaped prism-lights B B and C C. Each of these prism-lights is provided with a prism-surface consisting of the prisms D. E E are opaque frame-pieces which run diagonally between the diamond-shaped lights. |
I have shown certain angles for the diamonds and for
the prisms and certain numbers of prism-lights; but the essential features
of my design are found in a plate composed of a series of substantially
diamond-shaped prism-lights and portions of diamond-shaped prism-lights set
together so as to form a plate and all having prisms thereon substantially
parallel to the shorter axes of the prism-lights. I claim-- The design for a prism-plate substantially as shown and described.
