To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, OLIN H. BASQUIN, citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a certain new and useful Design for Prism-Lights, of which the following is a description. My invention relates to designs for prism-lights. Figure 1 is a plan view of a prism-light embodying my design; Fig. 2, a section therethrough. A is the body of the prism-light; B B, a series of prisms on one side thereof placed at a certain angle; C C, a series of other prisms at a different angle on the same side of the light and arranged so as to form a design. When seen from the prism side, a prism-surface is presented composed of a field of prisms of a |
certain angle and a figure or design formed of other prisms of a different
angle, and when viewed from the other side of the plate the sets of prisms
are distinguishable from each other, so as to produce a field and a design
therein. The essential features of my design are found in a prism-light comprising a substantially flat body with prisms on one side, some of the prisms at a given angle to form field, and the remaining prisms set at a different angle to form a design. I claim-- The design for a prism-light, substantially as shown and described.
