To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, FRANK L. WRIGHT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and original Design for Prism-Plates, of which the following is a description. My invention relates to designs for prism-plates and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Figure 1 is a plan view of a prism-plate embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a cross-section. A is the body of the prism-plate; B B, a series of surface areas formed thereof by the lines of separation C C. D D are a series of prisms on one side of the plate, and E E prisms on some of the surface areas scattered about over the surface. When viewed from the prism side, there is a uniform prism-surface. |
When viewed from the other side, there is a series of surface areas some of
which are provided with prisms and other forming a "field," so to speak. The essential features of my design are found in a prism-plate comprising a substantially flat extended body with a series of prisms on one side and on the other a series of lines of separation which divide the surface into a number of surface areas, and prisms on various of such surface areas. I claim-- A design for a prism-plate, substantially as shown and described.
