SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,014, dated December 7, 1897.
Application filed October 23, 1897. Serial No. 656,239. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK L. WRIGHT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and original Design for Prism-Plates, of which the following is a description.
My invention relates to designs for prism-plates.
Figure 1 is a plan of a prism-plate embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a section therethrough.
A is the body of the prism-plate; B B, a series of surface areas formed thereon by means of lines of separation C C. D D are prisms on the other side of the plate; E E, prisms on the surface areas near the top and bottom, and F F prisms on the intermediate surface areas which give the appearance of a connection
across the prism-plate from the prisms E E above to those below.
The essential features of my invention are found in a prism-plate comprising a substantially flat extended body having prisms on one side and on the other a series of surface areas formed by means of lines of separation, a band of surface areas along the top and another along the bottom having certain prisms thereon, and the intermediate surface areas having other prisms thereon to form an apparent connection from the upper to the lower prisms.
    I claim--
A design for a prism-plate, substantially as shown and described.
FRANK L. WRIGHT.
