Last will and testament of Thaddeus Hyatt,
a citizen of the U.S. of America, now temporarily sojourning in England.
1st. I give, devise, and bequeath all my Estate
real and personal wheresoever situated and located to my dearly beloved wife
Elizabeth Adelaide Lake Hyatt in trust for my children Bessie Lake Hyatt
(now Moore), Thaddeus P. Hyatt, Clotilde Sumner Hyatt, James H. L. Hyatt,
Annie F. Hyatt and Beatrice Marguerite Hyatt.
2d. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my
said wife sole Executrix of this my will, giving her full power to sell or
otherwise dispose of the whole or any part of said property real or personal
at her own discretion and to make such division of the same among the said
children as to her may seem just and right.
3d. In the event of the death of inability of
my said wife before she shall have fully discharged the aforesaid trust, it
is my will that my sons aforesaid shall succeed her as Executors, and I hereby
empower them to carry out my will aforesaid as my said wife could have done
under the provisions of this will as aforesaid.
4th. I hereby revoke, annul and cancel any and all
former wills by me made.
Signed, sealed, published and declared on this
25th day of September 1895 at No 1 Hamilton Road, Ealing, London, England,
to be my last will and testament in presence of the undersigned, who in my
presence, and in presence of each other have hereunto subscribed their name
as witnesses.
