To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, JAMES G. PENNYCUICK, citizen of the Dominion of Canada, residing at Toronto, in the county of York and Province of Ontario, Canada, have invented and produced a certain new and useful Design for Prism-Lights, of which the following is a description. My invention related to a design for prism-lights. It is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, wherein-- Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a prism-light containing my design. Fig. 2 is a cross-section. Like parts are indicated by the same letter in all the figures. A is the body of the prism having the plain |
side B and the prism side C, with the prisms D D arranged thereon
substantially parallel to the hypotenuse of the triangle. The prisms are
shown as of certain sizes, angles, and numbers; but the essential feature
of my invention, however, is a triangular prism-light having a practically
smooth surface on one side with a prism-surface on the other side, said
prisms being substantially parallel to the hypotenuse of the triangle. I claim-- The design for a prism-light substantially as shown and described. In testimony whereof I affix my signature, in the presence of two witnesses, this 22d day of April, 1896.
