To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, JOHN MEIGGS EWEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a certain new and original ornamental Design for Prism-Lights, of which the following is a specification. My invention relates to designs for prism-lights, and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein--. Figure 1 is a perspective view of my improved design. Fig. 2 is a section therethrough. Like letters indicate like parts in both figures. The body of glass A is substantially triangular in shape, having the straight edge or bounding-line B and the curved edges or bounding-lines C C. One side of the light is provided with a series of prisms D, |
substantially at right angles to the straight edge B. These prisms may be
placed on either side of the light. I have shown certain angles, arrangements, and numbers of the prisms, but the essential feature of my invention is the body of glass having one substantially straight side and two curved sides and provided on one side with a series of prisms arranged substantially at right angles to the straight side. I claim-- A design for a prism-light as herein shown and described.
