To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, JOHN MEIGGS EWEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original ornamental Design for Prism-Lights, of which the following is a specification. My invention relates to designs for prism-lights, and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein--. Figure 1 is a perspective view of a prism-light embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a section therethrough. Like letters indicate like parts in the two figures. The prism-light A consists of a body of glass or the like bounded by the straight edge B and two curved edges C in the form of compound curves. One surface of the prism-light |
is substantially smooth or plain, the other side being provided with a
series of prisms extending across the light. I have shown certain angles, arrangements, and numbers of the prisms, but the essential feature of my invention is a body of glass having one straight edge and two curved edges, the curved edges being in the form of compound curves, the glass being provided on one side with a series of prisms extending thereacross. I claim-- A design for a prism-light as herein shown and described.
