To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, JACOB JACOBS, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings, and in the State of New York, have invented a certain new and original Design for Glasses or Lights for Illuminating-Gratings and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which— Figure 1 is a perspective view of a glass or light embodying my design, and Fig. 2 a cross-section of the same. Letters of like name and kind refer to like parts in each of the figures. The object of my invention is to provide a design for a glass or light for illuminating-gratings; and to this end said invention consists in the design for a glass or light, substantially as hereinafter set forth. |
The leading feature of my design consists of
parallel ribs the alternate ones of which have smooth or plane sides
and the others have ribbed or corrugated surfaces. The glass is in the form of a rectangular plate A, having a series of parallel ribs B and C, the former having smooth or plane sides and the latter ribbed or corrugated surfaces. Having thus described my invention, what I claim is— The design for a glass or light, substantially as set forth. In testimony that I claim the foregoing I have hereunto set my hand this 12th day of May, 1897.
