SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,840, dated November 9, 1897.
Application filed September 11, 1897. Serial No. 651,384. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM S. MACHARG, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and original Design for Vault-Lights, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a new and original design for vault-lights, and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein--
Figure 1 is a side-view of a vault-light embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a front view of a vault-light embodying my design. Fig. 3 is a top view.
Like parts are referred to by the same letters in the several figures.
As illustrated in the drawings, the vault-light consists of the rectangular body portion A, provided on one side with one or more projecting prisms B, the other side being provided with an upwardly-projecting rectangular part C,
somewhat smaller than the body portion A, so as to leave a projecting flange therearound, and having rounded or curved corners C.
The essential feature of my design is the body portion A, having one or more prisms projecting from one side thereof, and a rectangular part projecting from the other side thereof, said rectangular part being round or curved at the corners.
    I claim--
A design for a vault-light substantially as shown and described comprising a body portion provided on one side with a downwardly-projecting prism part, the other side of said body portion provided with an upwardly-projecting substantially rectangular part, having rounded or curved corners.
WILLIAM S. MACHARG.
