Gaze upon this lovely National Glass Works company check ($24.65, to Standard Oil Co.), signed by T. A. Rodefer, prop., himself. It has no less than four different bank stamps on the back. Marvel at the detail in this cut of the Works and surrounds: paddle-wheelers, steam trains, horses and carriages; then clouds, wind, a crackling flag-- all very dynamic. Is that T. A. himself down on the grounds, near the front entrance? He appears to be looking this way...
